Since the beginning of this year I have been doing a drawing every day in a sketch book bought especially for this purpose. I am flagging a bit especially when it comes to deciding what to draw. I have posted on a Facebook group for artists and using an app Sketch a day that gives a word each day and enables users to share their work. Both have been good for getting encouraging ‘likes’.
Inktober is a movement where people do an ink drawing every day during October. For the past 3 years they have provided word prompts each day and the Sketch a Day app are using them. So I have joined in. I found it a bit difficult at first because of course you can’t erase ink. But I am enjoying it now. Unfortunately the only ink pens I have for drawing are black and permanent. But good effects can be gained from using water to make the ink run. The only such pens I have are two OHP non permanent markers. One is fine and blue the other is green and broad.
When I have time I will create a page on my site and put all the 2019 sketches on.
Here are my Inktober efforts so far

Hi. You are a very talented artist.
I have shown KT your sketches/drawings and she is now feeling inspired to do Inktober too. ❤️

Thank you Julie. I hope KT enjoys drawing. The important thing is to have fun and not worry about the quality …. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And most of the time I do not think my drawing is very good at all.
