40acts day 4

Oh dear I don’t seem to be doing very well this year. Hospitality is today’s theme. I have been trying to arrange a suitable date for people to come round to my house for a meeting and I decided that when they do I will bake a cake. But getting everyone available at the same time is very difficult.

“Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…” (1 Peter 4:9–10 NIV)

I would have done the red option of running a Lent group but this year we are meeting at church rather than in houses. And I have very few spare evenings.

I am seriously considering not continuing with 40acts. It doesn’t seem to be fitting in with my life as it is. I console myself that I am using my gifts to serve others.
