I have been having some fun with collecting autumn debris from the lanes: mostly leaves but also feathers and some bark plus a beautiful twig with lichen (?) growing on it. They have prompted the art created over the last few days. I shall make a separate blog post for each.

The large painted leaf was done with watercolour paints. It started out as an abstract but I did’t quite manage it and the more I worked on it, the more realistic it looked. Oh well, another time perhaps!
I wrote the Haiku poem whilst walking home after this morning’s prayer walk and decided to write it on the leaf and to stick some objects on the surrounding space.
