We had a tutorial at art group last week with some of Bob Barker’s pictures to copy/be inspired by. I had great feedback from Facebook friends.
It isn’t exactly the same as the original (see below) because I wasn’t being careful enough to do so. I decided not to do the trees on the right and the two people. I finished when I decided I’d had enough and was ready to pack away and go home. I was using acrylic paints, just brown and white, on paper. If I had been using a canvas on board then it would have been better. Also, the original was oils and they are better at blending.
In 2019 I did another of his paintings that I was very proud of.
