Praying through the bible – The Good News of Jesus

At last I got to the end of the Old Testament and began the New Testament – almost ten days ago now. I have been too busy to blog, but I have been reading and journalling.

I am using my gospel parallel that I use when doing bible study to compare those parts of the bible that appear in Matthew, Mark and Luke. I decided to use that rather than the reading plan I’ve been following. It is easier. I will go as far as the events of Holy Week and then read John’s gospel up to that point before using all 4 of them for the Easter story etc. I will then go back to the reading plan for the rests of the New Testament.

  1. Hello Mike. How wonderful to hear from you. I will have to look m again at the family history files when I get home. We are currently on holiday. Thank you for the information about my great aunt Edie. I have to confess I didn’t know about her. I hope you have a good birthday celebration. Happy birthday. I will try to remove your comment.
