Here’s the next double page of my journal. Hebrews isn’t the easiest book of the bible. Fortunately I am familiar enough with it to be able to enjoy using it in prayer. It is good to have these pages as a reminder of the main themes of this theologically rich book.
I love the way that the right hand page had a heart at the top and I was able to include a heart at the bottom. When we do not harden our hearts, but allow the words of Jesus in the bible to work in us, giving us the courage to draw near with faith, then our hearts can be purified and cleansed, thus enabling an even closer connection with God as our loving Father.
